Does Google Sites required search engine optimization

Today Google launched a new website called Google Sites and you know the great thing is what JotSpot is working on Google infrastructure and has been re-launched as Google Sites. I never thought these kinda surprises from Google. It’s very impressive thing and I am very much excited about it.

As Google says like we gonna love Google Sites because it gives a centralize information from videos to presentations and share your site with just a few people, your entire organization, or the world.

Now building sites is like editing a document so it shows that no need of any other persons help. You might be thinking like I don’t know that much HTML funda, don’t worry man those who don’t know coding part they also can create sites in few steps, we can say in single click. So why to think just get started, just show your creativity and start a new site.

The best thing is you can invite other person and give access to your friend circle so that they also can update or edit your site which keeps your own site up to date.
To get started with Google Sites, you'll first need to sign up for the Google Apps edition that's right for you (if you're not already a Google Apps user). Start the sign-up process at:

http://sites.google.com

You can quickly gather a variety of information in one place -- including videos, calendars, presentations, attachments, and gadgets – and easily share it for viewing or editing with a small group, their entire organization, or the world. Search with Google You can search across Google Sites pages and content using powerful Google search technology. You'll find specific pages and documents instantly, the same way you would on Google.com.

Every thing is almost clear now the question arises is does SEO help required for Google Sites?
How seo works here? Etc etc…First lets have fun with Google sites and have some more information on it then I guess we can reach some solution or some where….
